Lighthouse Journalism came across a video being widely shared on various social media platforms, including WhatsApp. In the video a few people are seen fighting. It was claimed that the video shows Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s PA Bibhav Kumar beating social activist and MP Swati Maliwal. During the investigation we found the claim to be false.
Claim:
X user Sarika Tyagi shared the viral video on her profile.

Other users too are sharing the video with the same claim.
Investigation:
We started our investigation by uploading the video in the InVid tool and running reverse image search on the keyframes obtained through the same.
This led us to a Facebook video by Mirror Now.
The caption of the reel said that the video is from Delhi’s Tis Hazari court and shows family members clashing with each other in the mediation room. The caption also mentions that the family members had come to settle their scores but ended up in conflict with each other.
We then ran a Google search and found that the video was uploaded by several media houses.
The video was also posted by X handle of NCMIndia Council for men affairs.
The earliest versions of the video was found to be uploaded by X user Ankur Gupta.
Conclusion: Fight among the family members in the mediation centre of Delhi’s Tis Hazari court goes viral as fight between Swati Maliwal and Delhi CM’s PA. Viral claims are false.
