Lighthouse Journalism found a video of a raft capsizing, being shared on a social media platform. The video further depicted the people travelling in the raft going along with the flow of the river. It was claimed, along with the video, that it showed an accident in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.
During the investigation, we found that the video was from Bosnia and not Rishikesh.

Other users are also sharing the same video.

Investigation:
We started the investigation by running a reverse image search on the keyframes obtained from the video.
This led us to a video posted on Instagram on March 30.

The caption in Croatian said: At first I panicked, but every subsequent review gives the impression that these people love wild waters. Well done.
We found a news report about the same.
The report said: While swollen rivers throughout the region cause problems and floods, a group of rafters in Banja Luka took advantage of the opportunity to go rafting on the swollen Vrbas. Fortunately, according to media reports, there were no injuries.
We found another report about the incident.
We also found the video uploaded on a YouTube channel two months ago.
Conclusion: The video of a rafting accident from the Vrbas river in Bosnia is now being shared as recent from Rishikesh, India. The viral claim is misleading.
