Lighthouse Journalism found a video that was widely shared on social media platforms, showing infrastructure destruction. It was claimed, along with the video, that India’s BRAHMOS missile fell near the nuclear command centre of Pakistan, leading to a medical emergency. The post further mentioned that the attack has shaken Islamabad.
During the investigation, we found that the video is old and is being falsely linked to the India-Pakistan conflict.

X user PIXEL PROPHET shared the viral video with the misleading claim.

Investigation:
We started the investigation by running a reverse image search on the keyframes obtained from the video.
We found the images from the keyframes in an Instagram post posted on May 6.
The caption suggested, “The crime of targeting Israeli aggression against #صنعاء power plant in the capital #ذهبانجرائمامريكاواسرائيل Photos | The #Israeli aggression’s crime of targeting the #Dhahban power station in the capital, #Sana’a. #America_and_Israeli_crimes”
We found a few keyframes as those of a viral video in a video uploaded by Reuters.
The report said: Video from Houthi-run Al-Masirah TV and verified by Reuters shows destruction at Yemen’s main airport and a power station in Sanaa on Tuesday (May 6). The Israeli military says it carried out an airstrike on Yemen’s main airport on Tuesday, its second attack in two days on Iran-aligned Houthi rebels after a surge in tensions between the group and Israel.

Conclusion: Old video showing destruction at Yemen’s main airport and a power station in Sanaa is being falsely linked to the recent India-Pakistan conflict. The viral claim is false.
