We spoke to a senior journalist covering the incident. He told us that the search is still on for the baby. The currents were strong and hence it has become difficult to find the baby, though the NDRF team has been working tirelessly since the evening.

In the next step of investigation we contacted Kalyan tehsildar, Jayraj Deshmukh. He told us that the viral news reports about the baby being found alive are false. The NDRF team is still working tirelessly to search for the baby.
