During the investigation, we found that the video is old from Puri’s Jagannath Rath Yatra. The viral claim is misleading.
Claim:
X user mister India shared the viral video with a misleading claim.
Other users are also sharing the same video with a similar claim.
Investigation:
We started the investigation by running a reverse image search on the keyframes obtained from the video.
We found the same visuals on a reel uploaded on July 3 by Instagram user rabindrajena.589.
We found similar visuals in a Facebook reel, which was from Jagannath Puri Ratha Yatra.
We also found a few news reports that carried similar visuals.
Conclusion: Old visuals from Jagannath Puri Ratha Yatra go viral as recent claiming to be from Rahul Gandhi’s recent Vote Adhikar Yatra in Bihar.
