Lighthouse Journalism came across a widely shared video which claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, refused to shake hands with US President Joe Biden during the G7 summit owing to his meddling in the Indian elections, showing the United States of America its place. During the investigation we found that the person seen in the video is not Joe Biden, the viral claim is false.

Investigation:
The video starts out a bit blurry but it seems to be from the recent G7 summit since the person seen at the end of the video is Giorgia Meloni, Prime Minister of Italy.
We then started by running a Google keyword search.
We came across a video posted on the YouTube channel of Firstpost, this video was clear as compared to the one being widely shared.
The person seen in the viral video is not Joe Biden. The person is a part of support staff at the G7 summit who was showing Prime Minister Narendra Modi the direction to proceed.
In another video posted on Firstpost, Giorgia Meloni can be seen greeting US president Joe Biden.
We also saw the similar visual uploaded on the YouTube channel of CNN-News 18.
In both these videos, it can be clearly seen that the person seen guiding Narendra Modi is not Joe Biden.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi did have a conversation with US President Biden in Italy on the backdrop of G7 and did shake hands with him as seen in a video posted on the official YouTube channel of Narendra Modi.
Conclusion: Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not refuse to shake hands with US President Joe Biden. The person seen in the viral video is a member of the support staff at the G7 summit held in Italy recently. Viral claims are false.
