The INDI Alliance hosted a rally at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan on April 1. It was a massive show of strength where the leaders of all major opposition parties pressed for the release of Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and Jharkhand’s former chief minister Hemant Soren. Amidst several pictures of the rally that were being shared on the social media platforms, one picture that showed a huge crowd on the Ramlila Maidan, was old and was from Kolkata from a rally in 2019. Viral claim of it being recent is false.
