Investigation:

We started the investigation by uploading the video in the InVid tool and obtaining several keyframes from the same. We then ran a reverse image search on the keyframes.

Through reverse image search we found the video uploaded on Instagram handle, ‘bollywoodshaadis‘.

No reporter in the video asked which cheek was slapped.

We also saw a PTI mic in the video, hence we searched the PTI social media handles. We then found a video taken from a different angle. The video was taken at the Delhi airport.

In this video too we could not hear the viral audio of any reporter asking the inappropriate question.

We also found the video uploaded on the ANI’s X handle.
